General Rental Center

Equipment Customer Haul Policy

Customer is responsible for any damages incurred during towing of General Rental Center (GRC)'s equipment, the following policies apply to the towing of any of GRC's tractors, trailers, mixers, air compressors, chippers, stump grinders and/or any other towable equipment:

1. Customer is responsible for securing/checking the load on the trailer.
2. Customer must have 2" ball hitch to use GRC trailers or towable equipment.
3. Customer must not travel further than 50 miles of nearest GRC location.
4. Customer is responsible for damages to towed equipment and/or trailer due to negligence or abuse.

Small Landscape Tractors:

New Holland 29 hp.

John Deere 31 hp.

Backhoes:

Terramite T-7

Mini Excavator IHI 9NX

Needs at least a Full-size ½ ton truck with 16' trailer and at least dual 3500 lb. axles.

Large Landscape Tractor:

Large New Holland 35 hp.

New Holland Skid Steer LS170

Needs at least a Full-size ¾ ton truck with 16' trailer and at least dual 3500 lb. axles.

Large IHI Excavator 35N / 35J:

Needs at least a Full-size ¾ ton truck with 16' trailer and at least dual 4000+ lb. axles.


* GRC has 16' dual axle trailers with 3500 lb. axles available for rental.
